Password Recovery Implemented

One problem with XileRO before is that whenever you forgot your password, it will be lost forever. There are no means of recovering lost passwords from accounts and GMs have no power of recovering them.

A new password recovery system has been implemented in XileRO to resolve such issue. It only needs your account name and the password will be directly sent to your e-mail address. If by all means you also forgot your e-mail address, there is a new e-mail changer NPC located at Payon town near Celly to be able to change your e-mail address.

Visit http://www.fadenetwork.net/pwreset.php for the password recovery.

War Of Emperium (PK): July 13

July 13, 11:59 PM, Server: XileRO PK, Location: Prontera Guild. Castle owners positioning for defense, conquerors preparing for the massive attack. This is the normal scenario 1 minute before the WOE starts. All guilds position and ready themselves to either defend or attack the castles.

12 PM, THE WAR OF EMPERIUM HAS BEGUN... Breakers from different guilds of XileRO PK rushed towards the castle hoping they can break the defense and destroy the Emperium. Akatsuki guild was noticibly the first guild to break-in, conquering Gondul castle.

Pearl Immortals and Prontera Knights were racing towards the Skoegul Emperium, to try to break-in and have a decent defense. "Skoegul castle has been taken by Pearl Immortals", as it was announced members rushed and established a good defense preventing enemies from breaking-in. Several guilds came crushing but still managed to defend it but were losing the line. A&C and Russian (both allies of Imperial Immortals) GMs came in and rallied there members to establish a more solid defense. Several attempts from Prontera Knights and Night Runners gave them mere attemps as Pearl Immortals displayed might at their defense. Skoegul castle was silent, few attempts from different guilds but failed miserably. Towards the end of the WOE, a familiar guild came and tried to break-in, it was the newly resurrected Angel Caido guild. After several attempts, Angel Caido successfully conquered Skoegul. Several guilds then came crushing towards the castle as Angel Caido was not able to establish a good defense. Escuadron Anbu, Prontera Knights, Night Runners, and Pearl Immortals where fighting over the castle. Finally, Pearl Immortals successfully conquered Skoegul castle and established a good defense until the end of WOE.

Gondul castle was in mayhem. After Akatsuki conquered the castle, the guild cannot withstand the attacks losing it in just minutes. Due to failed attempts in Skoegul, Prontera Knights and Escuadron Anbu, diverted into Gondul, competing against Bounty Hunters, Raising Fighting Spirit, History, Legendary Devils, and Baby Lionheart. Gondul was becoming a free castle as guilds cannot establish a good defend. At the last minute before the end, Night Runners successfully claimed Gondul castle.

Fadhgridh castle was silent not until the last part of the WOE. Breakers from Pearl Immortals, Bounty Hunters, Prontera Knights, and Legendary Devils showed force thus weakening the defense. Fadhgridh was a fight between these guilds as poor defense made it too easy to conquer. Bounty Hunters guild was declared victorious in claiming Fadhgridh castle.

Swanhild was nothing new. It was the same story with Gondul as defenses were still unsure and weak. Angel Caido, Xeleros Brothers, Escuadron Anbu, and the new Warning Is Not Alone guild were fighting over Swanhild castle yet were displaying difficulty at their defenses. As Night Runners guild came at the end part of woe, they successfully claimed Swanhild, giving other guilds no chance to recapture it as time was running out.

Xeleros Brothers, known for their strong and mighty defense over Kriehmhild, still displayed a full force defense making almost impossible to penetrate. But the unimaginable happened; Prontera Knights successfully penetrated their defense claiming Kriemhild. As this happened, several guilds then rushed towards Kriemhild castle. History, Bounty Hunters, Night Runners, Legendary Devils, and Xeleros Brothers were all attempting to claim Kriemhild. They all successfully claimed it at one time but due to massive number of guilds attacking, penetration was too much to defend. Prontera Knights was able to recapture Kriemhild and defend at the end part of the game, living Xeleros Brothers homeless for this weeks WOE.

Caste Owners:
Kriemhild: Prontera Knights
Gondul: Night Runners
Swanhild: Night Runners
Fadhgridh: Bounty Hunters
Skoegul: Pearl Immortals

MVP Boss Hunt For BoM Badge

Its the latest craze, the BoM Badge. BoM badges are obtained by killing an MVP boss. BoM badges can be traded with the new uber accessory cards in the Mall. Each uber accessory costs 20 BoM badges.

Setting up a party. You need a 5man party to be able to get a BoM badge. A good line up for this would be a mix of supports, casters, and damagers. My pick would be 2 paladins, high wizard, professor, and a sinx.

Paladins are very essential in a party because of the Devotion skill and to think they have HP. High wizards have massive area-of-effect skills which can easily wipe-out mobs. Professors are good at bolt skills and Magnetic Earth that can prevent MVP bosses from casting area-of-effect skills. The best damager would be the sinx. With this combination, no doubt MVP boss will be owned in no time.

When the MVP boss is killed, a random BoM badge will be given to the member. Quantity of BoM is based on the difficulty of the boss.

Here are some MVP bosses you can try on with your party:

Amon Ra - moc_pryd06
Baphoment - prt_maze03
Detale - abyss_03
Dracula - gef_dun01
Drake - treasure02
Eddga - pay_fild11 or gld_dun01
Garm - xmas_fild01
Golden Thief Bug - prt_sewb4
Ifrit - thor_v03
Mistress - mjolnir_04
Pharaoh - in_sphinx5
Phreeoni - moc_fild17
Thanatos - thana_boss
Turtle General - tur_dun04

GUIDE: Capture The Flag PVP Sytem

Capture The Flag or CTF is a custom XileRO PVP system where 2 teams with 5 members each race to get the enemy's flag and bring it to their base to get a point. When 3 flags are taken and brought to the base, the team wins.

Teams should kill the opposing players to prevent them from getting your flag or to be able to get their flag. Job classes can be classified into 3 categories: runners, defenders, and support.

Runners. Obviously they do the running. They are in-charge in getting the enemy flags and bringing them to your base to score a point. Stalkers, sinx, lord knights, and paladins are best in fit in this category. Stalkers can tunnel drive while sinx can cloak preventing players from hitting them. Lord knights and paladins have Peco-pecos making them fast runners with good amount of HP too. TGTB or GTB card is highly recommended to become a good runner.

Defenders defend the team's flag. They must at all cost prevent enemies from getting the flags. Snipers, high wizards, creators and gunslingers usually take this job. Sniper's traps are very useful in stopping runners from getting the flag. They can also unhide stalkers using their Arrow Shower and detect cloaking sinx, making them vulnerable to attacks. High wizards are expert at massive area-of-effect skills which are deadly to non-TGTB/GTb users. Creators plant bombs around the flags which does not just break weapons but also unhide stalkers and sinx making them vulnerable to attacks. Gunslingers have a good area-of-effect skill that can be used for defense, the Desperado skill. It can do a lot of damage, though it has a small area-of-effect.

Support. Basically what they do is support either the runners or defenders. Paladins are great supports due their Devotion skill and obviously Priest are great supports, no doubt about it.

The winning team gets 2 rookie badges.

GUIDE: 5man-free-for-all PVP Sytem

5mffa is a custom XileRO PVP system where 5 players get warped into an arena where they fight each other until one man is left. 1 rookie badge will be rewarded to the winning player.

Ill be discussing some tips and guides on how to play the 5mffa PVP sytem.

Any job classes can join in but not every job class are suited for this game. Job classes that can break or strip weapons are highly recommended. How can you kill someone if you don't have weapons anyways, right?

Creators, gunslingers, whitesmiths, and stalkers are advisable though most players use creators and stalkers. Stalkers have tunnel drive and hide skills which makes them difficult to kill. They can lurk at your back, divest you, then bam you're dead.

Creators have the best weapon and item breaking skills, and have healing skills which makes them hard to kill. Acid demonstration are very deadly when players don't wear ghost armors. Creators usually acid terror enemies to break there armor then Acid Demonstration them away. Bombs can be devastating because it has a high chance of breaking your weapons.

Its not all the armor/weapon breaking and stripping job classes that fits, high damage inflicting job classes fits just well too. High wizards, assassin cross, champions, and snipers works fine. Just be sure you can kill enemies as fast as you can.

High wizard's storm gust can be very devastating though TGTB equipped characters nullifies all magic spells. When this happens, Magic crasher can do the trick. Magic crasher is a physical attack based on int which is a good counter against TGTB users. Be sure to have enough hit though.

Assassin cross is very deadly, lurking in shadows and killing enemies in just seconds with their damage boosting skills. SinX uses Enchant Deadly Poison skill to boost their damage but on the other hand, drains their HP per second and prevents them from using any usable items. Their cloak skill gives them advantage on ambush attacks.

Champions are high damaging class which are very hard to kill because of their Snap skill. Snap makes champs jump several cells away. Throw Spirit Sphere can do a lot of damage. Occult skill can be very deadly to non-ghost armor users and high vit characters. The most dreadful of all skills is the Asura, a very high damage skill that can kill enemies instantly, though it makes the casters SP reduce to 0.

Snipers are best when it comes to range attacks, so take advantage of it. Snipers can stun lock enemies, killing them before they can even get near them. Snipers can inflict great damage which makes them difficult to kill. Snipers cannot equip shields preventing them from using TGTB and making them vulnerable to magic attacks though. Snipers have trap skills which are very useful in helping them prevent enemies go near them.

Don't be limited to these classes though, it's all about mastery and familiarization of each job classes along with strategy. The classes stated above have the best advantage when playing 5mffa but it doesn't mean they are superior. It's all about human skills.

GUIDE: 3on3 PVP System

XileRO 3on3 PVP system is a custom PVP event which a party of 3 registers to the 3on3 PVP NPC and waits until it is their turn to battle against other party.

Ill be discussing here some strategies and guides on how to play the 3on3 PVP system.

Line UP:
There are several combination of characters you can play in with the 3on3 PVP system. The most common line up is composed of: paladin, creator, and assassin cross. Though this is the most common line up being used, some parties also use paladin, creator, high wizards or clowns. Paladins and creators are very essential support members while the 3rd member is usually the damager.

Paladin's devotion is the most important party skill along with its buff skills such as the Guard, Reflect Shield, Shrink, and Defensive Aura. Devotion skill will link you to your other members and will take all the damages they receive.

Full Protection and pitch slim potions are the main support skills that should used by the Creator. As a creator, bombs, acid terror and acid demonstrations are the main offense skills.

The 3rd members acts as the damager usually an assassin cross, high wizard or clown.

Equipments:
The best equipment to be used are the elite sets. High Vit and HP equipments should be appropriate for a Paladin. Emperor Set is best for high vit and hp build.

There are 2 types of creators on a 3on3 PVP system, either a flee or a high HP type. Which ever build you want, Emperor Set is still recommended for this due to its flee and HP boosts.

Damager class basically needs equipments which boosts damage. Little Devil Set or Scarlet Angel Set suits best. Though some high wizards use Emperor set due to its int boosts.

Tactics:
Paladin should devotion the creator and the damager while the creator buffs full protection skill on the members to prevent weapons and armors from breaking. Potion pitch the paladin whenever his HP gets low. Creators are the most prone member so the paladin should protect them at all cost by using Magnum Break or Smite to knock back attacking enemies. The damager should do the rest. SinX should cast Enchant Deadly Poison to boost damage and just bang the enemy away. High Wizards usually casts magic spells, but if enemies have TGTB equipped, Magic Crasher should do the trick. Clowns frost joke and Vulcan Arrow and while enemies get frozen, creators can Acid Demonstration them.

So what are you waiting for? Look for a party now!

War Of Emperium (PK): July 06

XileRO PK server. At the start of WOE by 12pm of July 06, breakers from different guilds rushed inside Prontera Castles. By a few minutes, Eternal Empire conquered Fadhgridh castle while Xeleros Brother’s showed strong defensive force that easily repelled conquerors in Kriemhild. Gondul and Skoegul became free castles for several guilds due to lack of defensive strategies. Apollo Drunk a Drugs, Bounty Hunters, Angel Caido, Guardianz, and Reborn Legacy were battling out for Gondul, while Night Runners, Escuadron Anbu, Baby Lionheart, and Bounty Hunters are competing to gain Skoegul. Resurrection guild was able to defend Swanhild but lost it on the later part of WOE when guild Gives You Hell, Squadron Anbu, Night Runners, and Angel came crushing their defense.

Xeleros Brothers showed the enemies their tough defense in Kriemhild when Reborn Legacy and History were trying to break in. In the end, Xeleros Brothers was victorious in defending their castles against the two opposing guilds.

Three guilds were outside Fadhgridh preparing before the WOE started. As soon as the WOE started, breakers from Bounty Hunters, Eternal Empire, and Raising Fighting Spirit were rushing towards the Emperium. Eternal Empire easily conquered Fad and established a good defense. Bounty Hunters and Raising Fighting Spirit attempted to break in their defense several times but was too much for them. Both guilds left Fad and looked for an easier target.

Resurrection was able to establish a good defense in Swanhild castle but in the later part of the game, Gives You Hell, Squadron Anbu, and Angel was hitting them hard, slowly losing their defensive position as members were dying. With too much tension, Resurrection could not handle the heat giving Angel guild the chance to conquer Swanhild castle.

Skoegul and Gondul castles having weak defenses were good targets for other guilds. Guardianz were victorious in conquering Gondul castle while Bounter Hunters owned Skoegul.

Kriemhild: Xeleros Brother’s
Swanhild: Angel
Gondul: Guardianz
Fadhgridh: Eternal Empire
Skoeguld: Bounty Hunters

This only proves how fun XileRO PK's WOE is.
